Monday, March 3, 2014 • 10:00 - 5:00

Sometimes when you take pictures lighting conditions and other circumstances keep what might otherwise be a great photograph from working. Details get lost in highlight and shadow areas, the sky is washed out, unwanted elements or people can't be avoided, there's too much contrast, an image isn’t sharp and other challenges occur, which stop you from taking photos or you decide to delete them. Luckily many of these problems can be fixed in post-processing and/or by the kinds of exposures you take. In this workshop I'll help you recognize whether or not a picture can be salvaged and ways to go about doing so. Using participant's photos I'll demonstrate several ways you can correct images with certain of my favorite Photoshop and Lightroom tools. Some prior knowledge of either or both applications is recommended for attendees. If possible, please bring a laptop with Photoshop and/or Lightroom installed and photos to work on. Free 30 day trial versions of these apps can be downloaded from Adobe.
