Sedona Photo Shoot Classes: If you visit or live in or near Sedona, AZ take advantage of the opportunity to learn photography from critically acclaimed photographer Susie Reed while on a photo shoot at one or more of Sedona’s spectacular scenic locations. Reed takes individuals and small groups on photo shots that are instructional, informative and inspiring.
Phone and Internet Photo Instruction: Susie Reed provides personalized photo instruction to students via the phone and Internet. She does portfolio reviews and assists with editing. She helps students turn good pictures into great ones by enabling them to better understand some of Photoshop’s capabilities, such as how to brighten and enrich muddy, flat images and do color corrections. She can also help photographers prepare their images for print and posting on the Internet.
About the Instructor: Susie Reed teaches photography at the Sedona Arts Center and formerly taught at San Francisco Art Institute and California College of the Arts. She has over 30 years experience behind the camera as a fine art and commercial photographer. Her critically acclaimed pictures have been in major museums, galleries and publications and on an array of products. She’s the recipient of a Sedona Arts and Cultural Commission Artist Project Grant who loves photographing prehistoric rock art, people, landscapes, flowers, vineyards and Farmer’s Markets. Reed shows her critically acclaimed photos in Uptown Sedona at Goldenstein Gallery, voted the best gallery in Sedona the last four years. She was a featured speaker at 2010 Sedona Photofest and will be leading a photo shoot at 2012 Sedona Photofest. She's judged many photo contests and is head of Sedona Photofest’s Red Rock Open Photo Competition.
